Girl Power Costume Contest: Win $1000

Hey Trick or Treaters!

You may have noticed, as we did, that Halloween festivities are happening over TWO weekends this year. Our fans have been sending us all kinds of amazing costume ideas and telling us stories of what their children want to do on Halloween, and all of them are so creative and great that we wanted to do something fun. With that kind of Halloween madness, we thought — well, why not make a contest out of it?

We’re thrilled to announce our Goldie Girl Power Costume Contest, where our grand prize winner will receive a $1000 shopping spree at Toys”R”Us!

GUIDELINES AND FAQ:

Is this open only to girls, or can my son be involved?
We’re looking for fun, creative costumes that kids are really excited to show off. Of course your son can be involved!

Are you going to sell this picture of my kid to random publications?
By submitting to this contest, you give us permission to use the image submitted of your child on our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and blog, and to send it out via email, in promotion of this contest. You also give us permission to use the image in the future in connection with promotion of future contests. We do NOT have permission to sell the image (and wouldn’t, anyway).

Do I have to tag my photo in order to be entered?
Nope! As long as you use the hashtag #goldiehalloween, we should see it. Tagging is a great way to ensure that we do, though.

Do I have to like your Facebook page?
Nope! Though we would love it if you did, it’s not required.

If I share the photo, does that count as another entry?
Nope. Each family gets one entry, no matter how many times or where you share it.

What if my child has a bunch of Halloween costumes?
Pick their favorite! That one entry per family thing still applies.

What if I have multiple children?
Feel free to enter them together!

I don’t live in the USA. Can I still participate?
Unfortunately, this contest is open to entrants who live in the USA.

What if I have another question?
Ask it in the comments of this post and we’ll be happy to answer it.

Sympathetic Magician at GoldieBlox. I'm not saying I'm Wonder Woman, but I am saying Wonder Woman and I have never been seen in the same room.

  1. Was going to buy my daughters these for Christmas but could not justify paying £199.00 via Amazon UK for a set you are selling in the States for $29.99. Sorry.

    1. Hey Emma! Kaye here, I’m the Community Manager. We’re trying to get Goldie cheaply and readily available in as many places as we can. Try the US version of Amazon for some more reasonable price points, or email service@goldieblox.com for help. So sorry for the inconvenience!

  2. I don’t have a twitter account but my husband does. Can I use his twitter account for the posting even though the picture will be posted under my Facebook account?

    Thanks,
    Eileen
